Rope Lag Uses: A tough, versatile fibre ideal for general-purpose ropes used in mining, trucking and general industrial applications. Lagging insulates and protects the hose from abrasion and heat transfer.
It is an excellent material for thermal insulation and sealing of stoves, burners, chimney door sealing, heat exchangers, kiln cars, etc. Can be used in tough areas for piping and various objects when conventional insulation isn’t permitted.
Very Soft, Compressible ~75%, ceramic core can handle temperatures up to 1000deg C
